The QBE Shootout, hosted by World Golf Hall of Fame member Greg Norman, hosted the QBE’s 30th Shootout at Tiburón Golf and Country Club in North Naples last weekend, and there was no shortage of excitement!

Patton Kizzire and Brian Harman, who have playing against each other since they were 12, teamed up for the 1 stroke win!

Birdies came at Nos. 1, 3, 4, 9-11 and 13-15. An eagle-3 at No. 17 moved the duo to their eventual winning total of 30-under 186

While Kizzire was making his first QBE Shootout start, Harman was making his second (w/ Pat Perez in 2017/T3)

People Ask Me All The Time About How Tiburón Got It’s Name. The Golf Courses Within The Tiburón Community Were Designed by Greg Norman, the PGA Hall Of Famer Who Lended His Nickname “The Shark” to the Community. Shark Translated in Spanish is Tiburón.

After 1st Round Play on Friday, spectators relaxed at the tournament concert on the Tiburón Clubhouse Lawn with the beautiful Tiburón course as the backdrop, then the rainbow sky as the sun set. Florida Country Band, The Ben Allen Band had the large crowd dancing to their authentic modern county music with some throwbacks thrown in. Have seen many country bands from the big headliners to the Nashville stars, to the locals, and The Ben Allen Band is one of the best I have seen. They even have some original songs for the crowd which were excellent!

This event gets better each year, and we cannot wait for next year!
